Honeywell Looks To Help Rays Snap Two-Game Skid

The Tampa Bay Rays will look to even up their weekend series with the Toronto Blue Jays with a victory in Saturday’s middle game.  Brent Honeywell Jr. (0-0, 2.70 ERA) will open the contest, taking on Robbie Ray (0-1, 1.80 ERA).  First pitch is scheduled for 6:10.

  • RHP Diego Castillo has been activated from the COVID-19 Injured List.  He spent one day on the list dealing with side effects from his second COVID-19 vaccine.
  • RHP Chris Mazza has been placed on the 10-day injured list with left shoulder inflammation
  • C Deivy Grullón has been designated for assignment
