Charlotte Sports Park

After reassigning ten players to minor-league camp Monday, the Tampa Bay Rays made ten more cuts to their Spring Training roster on Tuesday.

Nine players were optioned to the minors: right-handed pitchers Brent Honeywell, Luis Patino, and Drew Strotman, left-hander Shane McClanahan, pitcher/DH Brendan McKay, infielders Vidal Brujan, Kevin Padlo, and Taylor Walls, and outfielder Josh Lowe.

Right-handed pitcher Joe Ryan, who had been a non-roster invitee, was also reassigned to minor-league camp.

The Rays spring roster now stands at 53 players.
