The Tampa Bay Rays added a pair of infielders to their team Tuesday, signing Amed Rosario to a one-year major league deal and Yu Chang to a minor-league deal with an invitation to big-league Spring Training.

Rosario comes to the Rays after splitting 2023 between the Cleveland Guardians and Los Angeles Dodgers.  In 142 games, he hit .263/.305/.378 with six home runs and 58 RBI.

Chang, who spent part of 2022 with Tampa Bay, played 39 games with the Red Sox in 2023.  He hit .162/.200/.352 with six homers and 18 RBI in just 112 plate appearances.

To make room on the 40-man roster for Rosario, the Rays placed pitcher Drew Rasmussen on the 60-day injured list.
