After spending 2021 with the Tampa Bay Rays, pitcher Michael Wacha will get more than double to stay in the American League East in 2022.
The right-hander has agreed to a one-year deal with the Boston Red Sox that will pay him $7 million next season.

The 30-year-old signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Rays for 2021, and ended up making 29 regular season appearances, including 23 starts. He finished 3-5 with a 5.05 earned run average.
