Siri Activated From IL, Bradley Sent Down
The Rays made a pair of roster moves prior to Tuesday’s contest. First, outfielder Jose Siri was activated from the 10-day injured list after missing almost three weeks with a hamstring injury. Infielder Vidal Brujan, who had played sparingly since being called up, was optioned back to Triple-A Durham.
In addition, Taj Bradley, who improved to 3-0 in the big leagues after his win Monday, was also sent back to Durham, with reliever Heath Hembree being selected to the big league roster. The 22-year-old starter, who has been on a six-day rotation, is expected to be transitioned to a five-day rotation while back with the Bulls.
