The Tampa Bay Rays have made a handful of moves as they prepare to begin the 2024 regular season Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The team placed outfielder Josh Lowe on the 10-day injured list retroactive to March 25 with an oblique strain, and placed shortstop Wander Franco on MLB’s Administrative Leave list.
In addition, outfielder Niko Goodrum, who the Rays acquired from the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday, was added to the 40-man roster and was optioned to Triple-A Durham.
The Opening Day roster for the Rays is as follows:
