Glasgow was sidelined back in February after experiencing a Grade 2 oblique strain during a live batting practice session in Orlando. That came on the heels of missing the second half of 2021 and almost all of 2022 following Tommy John surgery.
Lowe Again Out Of Lineup, Fleming Looks Ready To GO
Second baseman Brandon Lowe is missing his second straight game Friday with what manager Kevin Cash is calling a slight back issue.
Cash said the injury is different than the back broplems that sidelined him for a large chunk of the 2022 season, limiting him to just 65 games last year.
Lowe is expected to go through a full workout today, and if all goes as expected, could be available for the team off the bench tonight.
Meanwhile, left-hander Josh Fleming, who had to leave Tuesday’s game against Pittsburgh after being hit on the foot by a line drive, threw off the bullpen mound at Tropicana Field, and after the around 20-pitch session, deemed himself ready to go for his scheduled start in Sunday afternoon’s finale of this series.
