The Tampa Bay Rays Wednesday released the schedule of promotional items for the 2024 season. This year will feature 11 giveaways for all fans and six additional giveaways for fans 14 and under.
The first giveaway is a schedule magnet for the first 20,000 fans on Opening Day (March 28) against the Toronto Blue Jays. Other notable all-fan giveaways include a Jose Siri Replica Necklace presented by DEX Imaging (March 31 vs. Toronto Blue Jays), a Randy Arozarena Streetwear Shirt (July 12 vs. Cleveland Guardians), a Pete Fairbanks Bobblehead presented by Take 5 Oil Change (July 28 vs. Cincinnati Reds) and a Flappy Boi Zip-Up Hoodie presented by Spectrum (August 9 vs. Baltimore Orioles).
Inaddition, the team will have kids giveaways that include a Randy Arozarena Luchador Mask (May 5 vs. New York Mets), Josh Lowe Sunglasses presented by Tropicana (May 26 vs. Kansas City Royals) and Isaac Paredes Socks presented by Morgan Automotive Group (June 9 vs. Baltimore Orioles).
Meanwhile the 2024 class of the team’s Hall of Fame will have two inductees. As announced by his family last month, Rays Radio broadcaster Dave Wills will be posthumously inducted before the April 14 game against the San Francisco Giants, which also features a Dave Wills tropical shirt giveaway. Also, former Rays first baseman and baseball hall of famer Fred McGriff will be inducted on September 1 against the San Diego Padres, with a bobbelhead features as a giveaway.
With the exception of the schedule magnet, giveaways for all fans will be limited to the first 12,000 people, while kids giveaways are limited to the first 5,000 fans 14 and under.
