Rays Look To Patino To Finish Trip With Seven Wins

The Tampa Bay Rays can finish this nine-game three-city road trip with seven wins if they are able to take Sunday afternoon’s finale in Minnesota against the Twins.  Luis Patino (2-3, 4.64 ERA) will get the start, taking on Charlie Barnes (0-2, 6.08 ERA).  First pitch is scheduled for 2:10.

Brosseau Back As Diaz Continues To Improve From Thumb Injury

With first baseman Yandy Diaz still dealing with a sprained left thumb suffered in Friday night’s win, the Rays have added another right-handed bat, recalling infielder Mike Brosseau from Triple-A Durham.  Reliever Louis Head was sent to Triple-A Durham to make room for Brosseau.
