Rays Look To Establish New Record Friday Against O’s

The Tampa Bay Rays will look to set a new record for wins against a single opponent in a season Friday night when they open a three-game weekend series against the Baltimore Orioles.  Shane McClanahan (8-4, 3.63 ERA) will get the start, taking on Matt Harvey (6-13, 6.27 ERA).  First pitch is scheduled for 7:05.

Rays Gets Fairbanks Back For Weekend

The Tampa Bay Rays will also get a big piece of their back-end bullpen will be available for the series, as reliever Pete Fairbanks has been activated from the 10-day injured list after missing almost a month with inflammation in his right shoulder.

To make roomon the active roster for Fairbanks, reliever Louis Head was optioned to Triple-A Durham.
