Rays Get Roberson From Marlins
The Rays officially completed the offseason trade that dealt reliever Louis Head to the Miami Marlins, receiving relief pitcher Josh Roberson in compensation Saturday.
Roberson has appeared in seven games this season between Class-A Jupiter and Double-A Pensacola, holding a record of 1-2 with a 6.70 ERA. The 26-year-old, originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, was drafted by the Marlins in the 12th round of the MLB draft out of UNC-Wilmington.

He likes new analytics and aged bourbon, and is the owner of one of the ugliest knuckleballs ever witnessed by baseball scouts.
