Choi To See Doctor About Knee
Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi has dealt with soreness in his right knee since coming to camp, and is scheduled to see team doctor Koco Eaton today in St. Petersburg.
“It’s not like he did anything to hurt it,” manager Kevin Cash said. “It was just tight, and he couldn’t get it loose. He was planning on going to do drills and take batting practice, but we noticed him stretching the knee a lot more than normal.”
Cash says despite seeing the doctor, they aren’t overly concerned with his knee.
