The Boston Red Sox hit four home runs off Tampa Bay Rays pitching, including three in a six-run third inning en route to a 9-3 win Tuesday at JetBlue park in Fort Myers.

Boston got a two-run homer from Jairo Munoz off reliever David Hess in the second that got the scoring started, then added on an inning later with back-to-back solo homers by Kike Hernandez and Jarren Duran, and a two-run blast by Rafael Devers, all off Hess as well.

Kevin Cash would bring in minor-leaguer Kenny Rosenberg to try and get out of the inning, but he allowed a two-run double to Jonathan Arauz to make it 8-0 and the Rays would be forced to roll the inning over with just two outs.

Tampa Bay would not get on the board until the top of the sixth when Kevin Padlo blasted a homer to right-center, his first of the spring.

Vidal Brujan and Joseph Odom would add RBI singles for the Rays off Clearwater native Ryan Weber in the top of the eighth.

Michael Wacha worked the first inning of the game, allowing aleadoff walk but getting out of the inning with no runs.  Chris Mazza, Ryan Thompson, Louis Head and Yacksel Rios would add scoreless innings of relief.

Tampa Bay will return home Wednesday to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Shane McClanahan will get the start, taking on Steven Brault.  First pitch is scheduled for 1:05.
