Luplow Back As Rays Go For Fourth Straight Series Win

The Tampa Bay Rays will look for a fourth straight series victory and a new franchise record 17th win the season over the Baltimore Orioles with a victory in Saturday’s middle game.if the weekend series.  Michael Wacha (2-4, 5.88 ERA) will get the start, taking on John Means (5-6, 3.50 ERA).

Luplow Gets Activated From IL

Tampa Bay will get infielder Jordan Luplow back from the injured list Saturday, activating the first baseman after missing the minimum ten days due to a strained left ankle.

The Rays had optioned reliever Chris Mazza, who pitched three innings and earned his first save in Friday night’s win, to Triple-A Durham to make room on the active roster.
