Franco To Make Big League Debut Against Boston

The Tampa Bay Rays will lookto end their six-game losing streak tonight in the beginning of a six-game homestand and a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox.  Andrew Kittredge (5-1, 1.34 ERA) will open tonight’s contest, taking on Eduardo Rodriguez (5-4, 6.21 ERA).  First pitch is scheduled for 7:10.

Wander Officially Selected To Roster

The Rays made the call-up of Wander Franco official on Tuesday, selecting his contract and adding him to the 40-man roster.  To make room for Franco, minor-league infielder Wyatt Mathisen was designated for assignment.
