Just before the start of Tuesday night’s game against the Baltimore Orioles, designated hitter Yandy Diaz was scratched from the starting lineup by the Tampa Bay Rays with no immediate reason given.

Diaz, who was scheduled to lead off and play first base, left Monday night’s contest against Baltimore with neck spasms.

Randy Arozarena moves into the leadoff spot in place of Diaz, while Ji-Man Choi will take his place at first base.
