Diaz Second Player Placed On COVID List
A night after placing catcher Francisco Mejia on the COVID-19 injured list following a positive test for the illness, the Rays added infielder Yandy Diaz to the list after experiencing symptoms.
The team has not said if Diaz has tested positive for COVID.
Infielder Vidal Brujan has been recalled from Triple-A Durham to take Diaz’s place on the active roster.
