Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Chris Archer had not made a big-league appearance since April 10, and it could be a little longer before he makes his next start.

Archer left Sunday’s game against the Chicago White Sox after just two innings with what the team says his left hip tightness.

The 32-year-old had allowed one hit and a walk, while striking out four on the afternoon.

Archer left his fifth rehab start coming back from forearm tightness on August 1 after just one inning with the same issue, missing 16 days.
