The Tampa Bay Rays begin their defense of their American League championship on Thursday against the Miami Marlins, with Tyler Glasnow on the mound taking on Sandy Alcantara, and while there may be concern about pitchers being able to throw hundred of innings this year, one pitcher Rays fans shouldn’t have to worry about is Glasnow.
I joined “Beckles and Recher” on 95.3 WDAE Wednesday to talk about my expectations on Tampa Bay’s Opening Day starter, plus what concerns I might have concerning the team’s speed on the basepaths, and which pitcher I think fans and experts may be overlooking with Nick Anderson on the shelf due to an elbow injury.
