With Hurricane Ian bearing down on the Tampa Bay region here on September 28, I wanted to take you back to a much happier event that occurred on the same day of the calendar. It’s one that also needs just two words to evoke memories: Game 162.
A couple of years ago, while the pandemic had brought baseball and sports in general to a screeching halt, I put together an episode of my old podcast to talk about the craziness of that evening.
