There will be no heading in front of an arbitrator this year for the Tampa Bay Rays or any of their players that are eligible to have their salaries determined by that method.
Tampa Bay reached deals to avoid arbitration with all 13 of the players eligible for the process. Outfielder Manuel Margot, going into his final year of arbitration before reaching free agency, agreed to a $5.6 million deal for 2022, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
Topkin tweeted out the settlements for all 13 players.

Rosters To Expand Early, Texas Tiebreaker To Return
Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association appear to be very close to bringing back a couple of rules that had been taken out with the new collective bargaining agreement.
Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports that the two sides have come to a tentative deal that would allow rosters to be expanded from 26 to 28 players for the first month o the regular season, and that there would be no limit on the number of pitchers allowed. In addition, the runner on second base rule in extra innings would also return for the 2022 season.
