No Concussion For Franco
Manager Kevin Cash said Friday that shortstop Wander Franco, who was lifted in the seventh inning of Thursday’s loss to the Boston Red Sox with a headache, was reevaluated this morning, and does not have a concussion.
“Everything checked out,” Cash said. “We don’t know if it was the play the night before, or if just a headache popped up.”
It is expected that as long as the 20-year-old shortstop continues to improve, he’ll return to the starting lineup in the next day or two.
