Catcher Francisco Mejia will be starting in Thursday’s matinee after playing all nine innings of Wednesday night victory. Manager Kevin Cash says the reason is that Mike Zunino is dealing with a tooth issue that could be caused by getting hit in the mask by a foul ball.
